My real first name is Lorenzo, but everybody call me POLDO: my friends gave me this nick name since I was a kid and I looked like a very strong little boy of a comic-strip. I was "almost" strong like him, as well ! I used to race in the national juniors ski cup at top level, in order to become a famous ski-champion, but...the career in this sport it's hard, specially if you have axcidents like it happened to me.
Actually I'm the vice-director of one of the most famous ski school in Italy and in Europe, the AZZURRA CORTINA SKI SCHOOL. I ski very often with classes of little kids that make me feel young like them. I love as well to ski with adults that want to have fun by skiing in one of the most beautyful ski-area over the Alps, the DOLOMITI SUPERSKI, and also to ski in powder snow, as you can see from these images ! I often get in a good friendship with my clients and I take them to enjoy the best italian food and wine in the best restaurants and chalets in Cortina and over the Dolomites. Sometimes I play also the accordion for them with my friend FILENO, another ski instructor of my ski school, singing also some typical jodler ! Thanks to this we have many friends from many countries that like to come often back to Cortina and ski with us, but perhaps the gratest merit is because of CORTINA D'AMPEZZO, "The Queen of the Dolomites".
