Suggestive holidays for hikers and "trekking" with guide of the Gran Paradiso National Park

The " Parnassius Apollo Trekking Club" in cooperation with the Gran Paradiso National Park's Service establishes an alternative and qualitative relationship for the naturalistic tourism. It organizes hikes and "trekking" for little groups with guides of the park for weeks of great adventure. This "our take a trip" enjoy for the seductive magic of Gran Paradiso and it is even the principal reason to choose one of the activities of the "Parnassius Apollo": high mountain's butterfly, that as symbol, conducts you and promotes an intelligent and a tourism respectful of the environment.

Our "Holiday Trekking Service" is a program inserted by the 1980 in the project with guide specialized of Park. The hikers that want to participate in these active weeks, have the more fine contact with nature.

The guides help to discover the peculiarity wild of the nature's places and the beauties of park. These guides will accompany you during the excursions in alpine environment of the first Italian National Park. Throughout this alpine area we will have opportunity to make experience on the glacier and discover the rich flora and fauna, having accommodation in comfortable alpine huts.

ORGANISATION AND PRICES

The group with a guide is constituted by a minimum of 4 participants.

The cost is 320 Euro each person: it is inclusive of service-assistance guide, booking in various huts and hotels more the cost of half-board and food in hotels and huts, it will vary about 350\390 Euro to week.

The individual equipment is of sporting kind for mountain.

(You can get organised both with the train and with the public services) for the groups minimum of 10-12 participants.

Please, carry enough film with you to last the trip (double the number of rolls you first thought of).

SUMMER

June: "Canavese's hike" naturalistic weeks with easy excursions for the families (tourism and very easy holidays).

June: " Course of naturalistic sketch and photo in farm holidays and in the Gran Paradiso National Park " (tourism and very easy holiday ).

July: "Arround Gran Paradiso National Park" alpine excursion (medium difficulty trekking).

August: "Trekking of the Gipaeto" (easy trekking).

September: "Around Gran Paradiso National Park" alpine excursion (medium difficulty trekking).

"Anello Gran Paradiso": Around Gran Paradiso National Park

This is a classic itinerary on highest mountain of Gran Paradiso and on the principal glaciers of the first italian National Park.

There is the possibility to observe and to admire the protected alpine fauna in this natural reserve unique in the world, into the alpine silence.

The "Parnassius Apollo Club Trekking" is the first Company of the Park and it is working from 1972 year for this kind of initiatives.

The young peoples can go to integrate to a great service of naturalistic practice of Guide of National Park. This is one of the more complexs itineraries. It needs an alpine equipment: the boudrier, the crampons and good footwears to cross the glacier. But we are able propose you more easy itineraries for hikers and also adapts to the tourists only.

Program

1° day - The meeting is in the evening at 18.00 about, (conferm to Hotels or Tourist Juvenile Center of Lillaz - Cogne Valley - Aosta Valley). Half-board and last delucidations of program. How reach Aosta Valley: Take the train, line Milan \Turin - Chivasso\Ivrea and bus or by car the "highway A4" by tunnel Gran S. Bernard).From Aosta to Cogne Village.
2° day - We visit the "Paradisia" Garden and we will look at the naturalistic appearances that we will meet in the hike-tour. We will go on the Herbetet by Valnontey m.1666. We will climb and visit the park, on one of more beautiful paths of hight mountain, to Loson place. We will stop during night, half-board to Sella Hut m.2581.
3° day - We will go across to Loson Pass m.3296 to Valsavaranche and Leviona Sup. m.2581. (It is possible crossing to Neyron Pass m.3295; but this is an itinerary much long and difficult adapt to physically prepared persons to the Montandaynč and to the F.Chabod Hut m. 2750). The normal itinerary is get off to descent in Valsavaranche. Overnight, we will stay in one of the tourist structures to half-board, in the found valley to Eau Rousse.
4\5 day - We will climb the top of Gran Paradiso 4061. We will be in two days in Huts: Chabod m.2750 or Vittorio Emanuele II m.2732. Half-board in these Huts.
6 °day - We will go crossing to Gran Paradiso Pass m.3345; Noaschetta Glacier, Gias of the Losa Valley and we will get to the Colle dei Becchi m.2990, to descent Piantonetto Valley to half-board Pontese Hut m. 2220.
7 °day -We will climb up Colle Teleccio m.3304; descent for the Valeille Glacier to Lillaz ( Cogne Valley). Half-board Hotels or Tourist Juvenile Center of Lillaz
8 °day - Breakfast and break up of the group.
